Product Description

FX Clear is a hardwearing and washable liquid paste, especially manufactured for producing different and creative finishes.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of all loose dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint and loose surface plaster. Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Then apply FX Sealer Undercoat as required.

Application

Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer using an upward action. Brush/Roller: Apply a tinted satin acrylic base coat onto your prepared surface. Then apply a tinted FX Clear with a soft medium or long nap roller or by a 75mm-100mm brush. Then use a spatula, plastic bag or plastic card to create desired finish.
Thinning: Not usually required.
Conventional Spray: Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment.
NB: Ensure ‘FX Clear’ coat is completely dry before adding next application.
Tinting: Refer to tinting specification / colour chart.
Approximate Spreading Rate: 6-10 square metres per litre, depending on application and surface roughness.
Approximate Film thickness: Wet: 150 microns Dry: 25 microns
Method: Sponge, spatula, special rollers, brush, roller, chamois, conventional spray
Drying Times: (at 25c) Touch: 4 Hours Recoat: 24 hours. Clean up: Water
