Product Description
FX Lime Wash is a unique acrylic based coating using modern technology to create the original lime finish with more durability for interior and exterior use. Producing different and creative finishes. This product contains no lime products. Hence repainting requires only an acrylic undercoat to cater for another product.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of all loose dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster. Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Then apply FX Super Prep Sealer Undercoat.
Application
Stir contents thoroughly before use with a broad flat stirrer using an upward action. Brush/Roller: Apply first coat by roller and second coat using a 75mm or 100mm brush in a criss-cross fashion or a long or short nap roller, depending on desired effect.
Requires: 2 to 3 coats.
Approximate Spreading Rate: 12-16 square metres per litre, depending on application and surface roughness.
Approximate Film thickness: Wet: 40 microns Dry: 20 microns Thinner: Not required Method: Brush, roller.
Drying Times: (at 25c) Touch: 2 Hour. Recoat: 12 hours. Clean up: Water.
