FX Marmorino (Smooth or Coarse) is an interior and exterior render like product with varying special effects. The finish gives a seasoned, traditional European look.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of all loose dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster. Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Then apply FX Sealer Undercoat as required. For exterior use apply one coat of FX Stucco Undercoat. On ready painted surfaces apply one coat of FX Stucco Undercoat before applying FX Marmorino (Smooth or Coarse). * On oil based walls, sand & apply one coat of oil based exterior undercoat and then one coat of FX Stucco Undercoat.
NB. FX Wicked Wax can be applied to seal finished surface – internal only.
Application
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer using an upward action, or preferably use a power driven mixing paddle. Requires 2-3 coats applied by a stucco stainless steel trowel. Place a small amount of product on the trowel and apply as evenly as possible. The trowel is held approximately 45 degrees from the surface during application. Apply second coat in the same manner after 6 hours drying time. To achieve a slight sheen, rub the trowel over the surface, as in the application, whilst surface is still wet. Or when dry, polish using a fine sanding block and then move trowel over the surface or just leave flat. Effects vary depending on the size of the trowel. On smooth surfaces only two coats are required. If the surface is rough more coats may be required.
NB. Do not apply in direct sunlight Approximate Spreading Rate: 4-6 square metres per kilogram, depending on application and surface roughness.
Tinting: Maximum 150ml per litre (refer to specifications)

Drying Times: (at 25c) Touch Dry: 2 Hours depending on weather conditions.
Recoat: 12 Hours Clean up: Water.
