Ease of application
Exciting colour range
FX Spellbound produces many different special effects on all prepared interior surfaces such as plaster, plasterboard, iron, cement, timber, trims, doors, and furniture.
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and free of dirt, dust, grease, loose or flaking paint, and loose surface plaster. Efflorescence or mould on masonry or concrete surfaces must be treated. Flatten gloss surfaces by thoroughly sanding and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Ensure surfaces are properly prepared and smooth. Apply FX Lemon Tree Creek® Sealer Undercoat as required, then to increase workability, apply a base coat of FX Lemon Tree Creek® Semi-Gloss tinted to match selected FX Spellbound colour as closely as possible.
Note: To achieve an optimum finish, ensure surface is as smooth as possible.
Stir contents thoroughly before use with a broad, flat stirrer, using an upward action.
Apply the first coat of FX Spellbound by roller. Ensure the roller is very soft and between12 mm–20 mm. The second coat is applied using a 100 mm brush. Brush strokes can be criss-cross, basket weave etc. Or for the second and any subsequent coats, experiment with different strokes or different tools, such as a sponge or special roller. Ensure each coat is completely dry before next application.
Note: It is important to keep a wet edge at all times. To slow down drying time, add approximately 10% of FX Scumble.
Conventional Spray: Suitable for application using all standard spray equipment. For best finish and coverage on moulded and flat surfaces, use a spray gun.
