As part of a rebranding exercise, the Sly Fox Hotel, a long-standing resident of Sydney’s Enmore, needed to be re-dressed in a funky finish that encouraged its lively clientele but could stay smiling through long hours of music, dance and good times.

FX Australia’s Travertino® was perfect for the gig. This versatile coating replicates the natural beauty of travertine stone and can be a classicist’s dream or a modernist’s best friend.

 

The Sly Fox design team chose a contemporary approach to FX Travertino®, manipulating several custom-tinted colours in the brown spectrum, then polishing the finish to a fine sheen to bring out the coating’s characteristic stone texture. Simple, durable – and definitely very funky.

FX Travertino®, coupled with industrial-style raftered ceiling and lighting, has helped to give this popular old girl a new lease of life, updating her looks to attract new custom as she rocks on into the wee small hours.
